Why the Korra pull is not okay. (NO, its not because Spongebob sucks)
The Legend of Korra is an amazing show. That is my personal opinion. You may disagree. If you do, that is totally cool. You may think Spongebob is much better. Which again, is your personal opinion.
What is not personal opinion. Representation.
The Legend of Korra continues a legacy of representation that began with the original Avatar: The Last Airbender series. This shows represents people of color, strong female leads, disability, and diverse family relationships. Seeing these things on television, ACTUALLY ON YOUR PSYCHICAL TELEVISION SCREEN, is important. Yes, I will still watch Korra and the gang online, but what about the people that don’t know about the show. People who watch Nick will no longer get to see these diverse characters.
Yes, you may say there are other POC on TV, there are other strong ladies, but we need all the representation that we can get.
Representation is important. It really matters.

Spread the word! We want to save this great show from being taken off television air and get it the respect it deserves!
If it does not air at this time where you are, be sure to use the hastag at this time anyway! We want it to be trending around the world!
